football fever

I don't know about ya'll, but I personally have Cubs fever over football fever, but whatever.
The little boys of the house are starting to get football fever though, as Ben just started flag football recently. He had his first game Sunday and it was entertaining. They did a good job....Plus this weekend was the Iowa/Iowa State game and all the hype that goes along with that. So they've been playing football out in the yard now instead of wiffleball, and even Abby plays along. Last night they were all on the same "team" and Jason would call them to 'huddle up', he'd tell them the play and then "break". Abby repeated each of these commands, which is what prompted me to get the camera.

you'd be proud; I even cheered for the Hawks....Iowa State is a special place, but hawkeye sports, c'mon!!

Hawks to the core? Vicki Cupp! Your collective alma mater just tossed aside? So sad (but adorably cute!) to see your children black and gold.

i know, i know, it's really shocking...I just couldn't hold out any longer. of course, I'll still cheer on the clones, I just know NOTHING about them! and the kids, it's hopeless for them. they're branded hawks already. but i promise not to be an obnoxious hawkeye fan!!

I like seeing that not only are your kids wearing Hawkeye gear, but they are also playing football, not something like frisbee.
