What a nice video of where you've been...a lot of changes! The first ones look strange because we know her now and how far she's come. What a great family God has blessed you with.

Hope some loving family took in the child with the cleft that was in the orphanage picture as well...that one hit home with us.

I did enjoy the final one ;) you've inspired me to do ours again (post crash!) maybe in time for our third referalversary (this summer already!)

So many things to say....

I cannot help but cry to look back upon the day you met Jenna. We (parents, the adoptive community) tend to focus and prepare SO much for the grief of our children. It is NO surprise that our children will grieve on "Gotcha Day". It really isn't unimaingable that they will cry and/or shut down. But us!?? Where was the preparation for how WE would feel? I can see the look of fear and overwhelment on your face, in your eyes. I know it, because i had it! And i was unprepared to function with it! There are truly NO words to describe what takes place on that day....I think the pictures speak for themselves...

I cannot even stand the picture of the banyan tree and more importantly you holding Jenna underneath the very tree where she experienced her first loss. Only to stand underneath of it once again in her mother's arms,, representing the Rdeeming Love of Jesus Christ. Full circle - that's what the leaf of that tree stands for. He gives and takes away.

And I miss Jenna being a big bow head! SO cute! There is something a about a little Chinese girl with a ginormous bow (makes my heart skip a beat!)

Love ya,
Sara

I love the video and watched it twice. Bless you both for surviving Jenna's gotcha day.

I love the new picture of Jenna on the stairs. She looks so much healthier and oh-so-pretty in her dark pink sweater. I hope things keep improving for you both.

Absolutely beautiful! I'm so glad God led me to your blog today. I'm looking forward to reading more and following the path that your precious family takes.

We are forever blessed that God chose to create our families with children He chose to be born on the other side of the world! He sure does love us a lot!!
